Notes:
- The body mass index (BMI), is a statistical measurement which compares a person's weight and height.
BMI is defined as the individual's body weight divided by the square of his (or her) height.
The formulas universally used in medicine produce a unit of measure of kg/m^2.
BMI doesn't measure the percentage of body fat (an important evaluation criteria), but for its ease of calculation it's widely used to identify population's weight problem like underweight, overweight and obesity.
